IENKI IENKI is opening the new season with a special Lightweight collection of items, specifically designed for excellent protection against a first cold snap. On top of jackets and vests, the collection boasts pants, shorts and mini-skirts, as well as knitwear.
“We've expanded our line-up significantly this season as we decided to work with the complicated genre of in-between seasons clothing. Due to transitional weather conditions and frequent temperature changes, people want their clothes to stay cool during the day and warm in the evening. To achieve this we used new fabrics and experimented with various new types of insulation”, says the brand’s founder Dima Ievenko.
The new jackets – Nuna, Tuttu and Ukpik – all are filled with the highly technological PrimaLoft insulation that comes close to natural goose down in its thermal qualities and also repels water, ideal to ward off autumn rains. The same kind of insulation has been chosen for the pants, shorts and mini-skirts, making them warm, but also fine and light.
The traditional down filler, lightened for the season, is featured in the brand’s interpretation of the shirt, which was named the Kalik Shirt. It can be worn both separately or in combination with the new Atti Vest.
All pieces from the collection can be combined with each other and worn in layers for better heat retention such as during outdoor activities or on a mountain hike.
