At IENKI IENKI, we’ve always been dedicated to redefining outerwear by combining high fashion with performance. Our collaboration with renowned mountaineer Antonina Samoilova exemplifies this mission. Known for our stylish everyday outerwear, we’ve expanded into high-performance gear through our “Advanced Research” program, creating clothing that doesn’t just look good but functions impeccably in the harshest conditions. CHALLENGING ENVIRONMENT

Mountain climbing is one of the most demanding task on Earth, requiring apparel that can endure the extremes of nature. From freezing temperatures to rugged terrain, every aspect of gear must be meticulously designed for survival and performance. Antonina Samoilova’s expedition to the towering peaks of Mount Everest presented the perfect opportunity for IENKI IENKI to challenge itself. In these extreme environments, where even the smallest detail can make a difference, our goal was to create apparel that ensures protection, warmth, , and mobility.

INNOVATIVE MATERIALS 

To meet the unique needs of Antonina’s expeditions, IENKI IENKI developed two bespoke suits using cutting-edge materials and construction techniques.

• The yellow one-piece down suit is designed for mountain climbing, featuring 950 fill power for exceptional warmth at minimal weight (just 1.8 kg), allowing for easy movement without compromising insulation.
• The red two-piece set (jacket and pants) is crafted for comfort in base camps, offering versatility between climbs while ensuring both warmth and freedom of movement.

Our design process focused heavily on leveraging innovative materials like ultra-lightweight down insulation and fabrics that ensure maximum water-repellency, windproofing, and breathability, without sacrificing style.
